Washing the subway, cab rides, and Times Square out of my hair was bitter sweet. Yes taking a shower and feeling fresh was nice but leaving the city was heartbreaking.
Anything you want at any hour is at the tip of your finger tips. I mean, it is the city that never sleeps. While I was visiting I forgot that there were different places in the world other than The Big Apple!
You have the diners, drive-ins, and dives! There is endless amounts of local places to eat! You definitely won’t run out of food.
All the neighborhoods! They are all so unique and different! My favorite was Greenwich Village in the Meatpacking District. You have the hustle & bustle of the city but not too much of it. Just the right amount!
Shopping, Shopping, Shopping! Endless amount of it.
Central Park, Battery Park, Bryant Park, & many more. The small get away from the big city.
BROADWAY! When I was visiting I saw Phantom of the Opera. Seeing a Broadway show of Broadway is a must do.
All the people! You’ll get to meet people from all over the world!
NY pizza! We ate a Juliana's Pizza in Brooklyn. She started and owns the famous Grimaldi’s Pizza! Yummy!
Subway! We took the subway one day & the other days took a taxi! But if you think about taking the subway is a cheaper way of life! No car insurance, car payment, or gas! Plus you have no worries of people drinking and driving, just running late to work!
The views… Seeing the skyline every now and then will remind you why you started your journey here.
Here is a list of places I went to and enjoyed very much!
1. Juliana’s Pizza: 19 Old Fulton Street, Brooklyn, NY
2. Washington Square Park
3. Chelsea Market (my favorite out of everything) 75 Ninth Ave
4. Brooklyn Bridge (I suggest going to Brooklyn Bridge Park, getting an ice cream from the
Factory & then walking it off by walking the bridge back to Manhattan
5. 9/11 museum
6. The New York Plaza Food Hall(go to the shoppes and go to the lower level, they have
different little shops and restaurant to eat at. Quite cute!
7. Sprinkles Cupcakes! 780 Lexington Ave.
