Biography: You're probably wondering why I chose to attend Ole Miss, I get that a lot, but Ole Miss has everything I want in a school. It may be across the country from my hometown, but the warm weather, academic reputation, and of course the pretty girls are all appealing factors in my opinion. When I first saw the link to this application, I breezed right over it. I figured, who in their right mind would vote for a kid from Rhode Island? But then I began to think more, and who WOULDN'T vote for a kid from Rhode Island? The face of the class of 2019 shouldn't be like the majority of students, and I feel that selecting someone from Rhode Island, would set Ole Miss apart from other schools. Enough about Rhode Island though, I think I'm a pretty cool guy as well. This past winter I was captain of my school's (Moses Brown) ice hockey team. We compete in the NEPSAC, which is an elite prep school powerhouse conference in New England. I was actually named Defensive Player of the Year as well for the team. In fact, I got interest from Division 3 college hockey programs in New England, but who would want to do that when I could be chilling in Oxford instead. I was also a varsity lettermen in lacrosse. I attend on continuing my hockey career on the club team at Ole Miss. In the classroom I was by no means Albert Einstein, but I was a solid student who could balance academics and athletics. I guess you could also say I was the unofficial leader and grillmaster of #QuakerNation tailgates, the massive school tailgates for my school's sporting events. I will absolutely carry my school spirit with me at Ole Miss and plan on getting rowdy for all sporting events.
