BIOGRAPHY

I will be attending the University of Mississippi this upcoming fall (Hotty Toddy!!!). I am in the honors college and plan on majoring in Biomedical Engineering on the Pre-Med Track. I am definitely rushing and look forward to meeting so many new faces due to the fact that I am 7 hours from home. I love anything to do with food, and love trying new exotic things. I am super outgoing and love community service. Can’t wait to start the best 4 years of our lives!! 

Hobbies: cheering, tumbling, reading, shopping, hanging out with friends, eating Mexican food (any type of food really), volunteering with various non-profits

Extracurriculars: I am a former cheerleader, but still love to cheer, and I also am a Pageant girl!

BIOGRAPHY

I was on the varsity cheer and tennis team at my high school for all four years. I also play piano. I live on the water, so all my free time is spent boating and jet skiing with friends. I have been accepted into the Early Entry Pharmacy School at Ole Miss! I decided to make the University of Mississippi my future home after attending the APEX Leadership Summit there and touring the pharmacy school for the Pharmacy Preview Day offered my junior year. I plan on rushing in the fall, and I can't wait to meet new people while getting involved on campus! Hotty Toddy!!!

Hobbies: Playing tennis, playing piano, hanging out with friends, boating, jet skiing, and any activities on the water.

Extracurricular Activities: I am a former cheerleader and tennis player.

Most Embarrassing Moment: My grandfather was dropping our family off at valet for a big wedding.  In my new shoes, I leaned into the trunk to get my purse, and he forgot that I was there and drove off. When he started to drive, I fell into the trunk and the tips of my shoes were worn off while he drove off in front of the wedding party!

My name is Amanda and I'm going to be a freshman at UM this fall! I grew up in the Florida Keys but have lived in Miami for the past seven years. I'm majoring in Architecture and I plan on rushing in the spring. I come from many different backgrounds; my mom is Chinese/Jamaican and my dad is South African/French. Since I've grown up being a part of a variety of cultures, I have a huge appreciation for traveling to places around the globe. I love to play tennis and spend time with family and friends.
